Development history of mgo board 

When people developed mgo board for more than 30 years ago, the mgo board is the chloride mgo board. But why another formula, sulfate mgo board was developed in the recent 5 years ? 

There are some reasons like manufacturers use unqualified raw material and unscientific formula, no second time curing during the production.
All these reasons lead to the high content of chloride ion.the character of chloride ion is it will absorb water, so if use chloride mgo board in wet areas,after 2-3 years, there will be some problem like sweating; moisture problem. What's worse, this problem can not be seen in short time, it will come 2-3 years. 

Compared to Chloride mgo board, the biggest advantage of sulfate mgo board is it solved the problem of Chloride ion. So if clients lived in some wet climate countries and usually have lots rain or want to use the exterior areas, sulfate mgo board is a good choice. Actually the cost of the sulfate mgo board is much higher than the chloride mgo board. 


As manufacturer, we know exactly the cost of magnesium sulfate. But now lots chinese customer offered a little bit high price or just directly broadcast their chloride mgo board price is same to sulfate mgo board price, dear , if the raw material of sulfate is much higher than chloride, how can the finished produce keep the same price, right ?

How to guarantee the board arrive to our clients safety

1. Packing We use plywood packaging or solid wood packaging. The solid wood packaging has the IPPC logo for export. There is no problem with the export of the solid wood packaging. The PE packaging strip will be nailed into the pallet so that it is not easy to fall apart during transportation.

2. Our packing quantity is based on our export data, as well as the weight limit requirements of the port of destination and the size of our products, and specifically calculate our best packing quantity to save money for customers.

3. If the box is not full due to the size and weight limitation of the box, we can use air cushion belts and straps to fix the pallet in the box to prevent damage caused by the movement of the pallet during transportation.

4. Our pallets will be protected by corner guards around the sides, the top and bottom sheets will use waste boards with different thicknesses as the guards to protect the boards.

 

Application

1)Interior Decoration

Compare to the traditional building materials, the MgO board has many great advantages.
Its fireproof performance isA1 grade, non-combustible, water resistance and high strength. Compare to the gypsum board, a 9mm MgO will be stronger than a 14mm plasterboard.
Also, the MgO board is easy to use, no need any special tools and treatments

2)Floorings

Our high strength floorboard is specially designed for floorings.
Its bending strength could be up to 20MPa. The backside is sanded and very flat, the tolerance could be less than 0.02mm.
We could make different edges such as shiplap, so you could install the board quickly.
3)Structural Insulated Panels

The great advantages of strength and fireproof performance lead the MgO board very suitable for making SIP
4)Partition Walls

The MgO Board is very suitable for partition walls, no matter the steel frame or the wood frame.

MGO powder

1)Content of Magnesium≥ 85%
2)Activity≥60%
3)Content of CaO≤2%,
because if the content of CaO is too much, will lead to calcium
hydroxide and the volume of the board will expand, so the board will not be flat

MgSo4

1) Content of Magnesium≥ 46%
2) sodium chloride≤1%, the lower, the better
3) sulfate ion 2.5%-3%

Fiber glass mesh

The main function of fiber glass mesh is to increase the strength and durability of the board,what we use is high strength
Platinum fiber glass mesh
For Floor board , we will use Glue-coated fiber glass mesh ,its strength is much higher than common types

2.Production Process control

1)We use automatic metering;

the machine will metering the MgO powder, MgSO4 automatically, and we will maintain the weight censor every batch production. For
mixing, we will check the density of the mixed materials every mixing.

2)Molding/forming process.

Every time before production, workers set up the target thickness of the rollers by feeler gauge and team leader double check.
After the first-time curing process, boards becoming solid and the team leader will check the thickness in the curing rooms to
make sure it could meet the requirements.

3)During the curing process

we equipped the boiler to supply heat to the curing rooms to control the temperature. We also
equipped the alarm to alarm the workers if the temperature if not right. Picture shows you the alarm and heaters fans in the   curing rooms.

3.Finished Product In our factory lab, we could do the strength test, water content test and density test. We also could cooperate with customer to do third-party test and inspection before loading. You also could tell us your ideas. Picture attached for your reference.
