Compared with traditional flooring, the MgO flooring has the following superiorities:
1. the bending strength and flexibility are better, 16mm MgO floorboard bending strength is the same as 19mm fiber cement board; 19mm mgo floor board is equal to 24mm fiber cement board
2. the density is lighter, and much easier for workers when installation
3. Application: MgO board is easy-cut, easy screw, fiber cement board is relatively hard when want to screw, has to drill the hole first
4. Mgo board is an environmentally friendly green product. we got the news that the Australian and New Zealand government is becoming very very environmentally friendly country. The government requires the building materials not pollution and we also heard that they are promoting the mgo board since the level for CO2 is 5%. For the plasterboard, it is 95%, and our is 5%. The government is not allowed to cut down trees. Environmental friendly is a strong benefit for mgo board.
Magnesium Oxide boards are certified fire-resistant, water-resistant, high-impact interior and exterior construction panels. The MgO panel's load capacity meets the requirements of both residential and commercial structures.
With its mold resistance, fire resistance, and high-impact properties, MgO boards could be used in high-value areas i.e. safe rooms and equipment rooms or when health and safety concerns exist.
MgO board is light tan to cream in color. Standard production material is very smooth on one side and sand textured on the other.
MgO board accepts any type of paint, wallpaper, and tiling. Standard edges are square or tapered, special edges and sizes are available though. It may be cut, trimmed,d or shaped using ordinary power or hand tools.
Applications include single-family homes, apartment complexes, commercial high-rise buildings, theaters, museums, schools, hospitals, retail, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, airports, subway stations, tunnels, fire separations, etc.
